Best places to visit in India|India is the seventh largest country in the world though it is second largest populated country in the world. Indian culture,music,dance, and most important languages and religions differ from place to place within the country. India is most ancient civilizations in the world .

1. Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the largest state of India, Rajasthan. Jaipur is also known as pink city because of its dominant color of buildings. Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Rajput ruler who ruled from 1699 to 1743 , Jai singh || ,after whom the city is named as JAIPUR .Jaipur is the popular tourist destination in India and forms a west golden tourist circuit along with Delhi and Agra.
Jaipur's plan was based on principle of vastu shastra and shilpa shastra The construction of the city began in 1726 and took four years to complete the major roads, offices, and palaces. The city was divided into nine blocks, two of which contained the state buildings and palaces, with the remaining seven allotted to the public. Huge ramparts were built, pierced by seven fortified gates.
Now , if we move on to the climate of Jaipur, it has a monsoon influenced hot semi arid climate with long, extremely hot summers and short, mild to warm winters. Annual precipitation is over 63 cm, falling mostly in July and August due to monsoon, causing the average temperatures in these two months to be lower compared to drier May and June. During the monsoon, there are frequent, heavy rains and thunderstorms, but flooding is not common. The highest temperature ever recorded was 48.5 °C, in May. The city's average temperature remains below 20 °C between December and February. These months are mild, dry and pleasant, sometimes chilly. The lowest temperature ever recorded was -2.2 °C. Jaipur, like many other major cities of the world, is a significant urban heat island zone with surrounding rural temperatures occasionally falling below freezing in winters.
The famous places to visit in Jaipur are:1.Amer fort- Places to visit in India| Amer Fort or Amber Fort is a fort located in Amer , Rajasthan,India.Amer is a town with an area of 4 square kilometres located 11 kilometres from Jaipur, Rajasthan.The town of Amer and the Amber Fort were originally built by the Mairs and later it was ruled by Raja Man singh I. Located high on a hill, it is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Moata lake which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace.
Amer Palace is situated on a forested hill promontory that juts into Maota Lake near the town of Amer, about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Jaipur city, the capital of Rajasthan. Jal Mahal (meaning "Water Palace") is a palace in the middle of the Man sagar lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja jai singh II of Amber.
The Jal Mahal palace is an architectural showcase of the Rajput style of architecture (common in Rajasthan) on a grand scale.
The building is located near the shoreline of a lake with a maximum depth of 15 ft. Though 4 stories of the building are under the surface of the water, they would be built into the bed of the lake.

Calangute is a town in North Goa, famous for its beach. The beach is the largest in North Goa and visited by thousands of domestic and international tourists alike.

India gate is a war memorial extending across Rajpath.
It stands as a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in between 1914–1921 in the First World War, in France.
The India Gate was part of the work of the Imperial war graves commission (I.W.G.C), which came into existence in December 1917 for building war graves and memorials to soldiers who were killed in the First World War The foundation stone of the gate, then called the All India War Memorial, was laid on 10 February 1921, at 16:30, by the visiting Duke of Connaught in a ceremony attended by Officers and Men of the British Indian Army, Imperial service troops, the Commander in Chief, and chelmsford the viceroy.

Red fort is an old historic fort in delhi, India.It was constructed in 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor, shah jahan .Every year on the Independence day of India (15 August), the prime minister hoists the Indian "tricolor flag" at the main gate of the fort and delivers a nationally broadcast speech from its ramparts.
On 15 August 1947, the first Prime minister Jawaharlal nehru raised the Indian national flag above the Lahore gate. On each subsequent Independence Day, the prime minister has raised the flag and given a speech that is broadcast nationally.

Akshardham is a Hindu temple, and a spiritual-cultural campus in Delhi, India.Also referred to as Akshardham Temple or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture.
The main attraction of the Swaminarayan Akshardham complex is the Akshardham Mandir.
